Nowadays, there are many ways to consume CBD, a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis plants. Over the last few years, we’ve seen this compound be used in drinks, creams, food, e-liquids, as well as cannabis strains being bred to contain different ratios of CBD.
At Cali Terpenes we want to offer consumers a way to have everything that this cannabinoid offers, instantly. That’s why we created our cartridges with CBD concentrate and different terpene profiles for vaping, offering the benefits of CBD and terpenes instantly and efficiently.
What do Cali Terpenes’ CBD Cartridges Contain?
Cali Terpenes’ CBD cartridges contain CBD distillate that’s crystallization-resistant, designed to be vaped, and comes in 1g formats. They contain high amounts of CBD or cannabidiol, a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, alongside other campaigns that don’t provoke any type of psychoactive effect. Each Cali Terpenes cartridge has the following cannabinoid composition:
- CBD: 45-55%
- CBG: 7.5-20%
- CBDV: 2-6%
- CBN: 0.05-0.3%
- CBE: 6-13%
- CBC: 0.03-0.15%
- THC: <0.2%
- Other Cannabinoids: 12%
- Total Cannabinoids: 91% aprox.
- + terpene profiles by Cali Terpenes
Composition may vary slightly depending on the batch.
As you can see, we’ve invluded other cannabinoids apart from CBD in our concentrates, because the different cannabinoids found in cannabis contribute to what’s called the “entourage effect”, which is simply a type of synergy between different molecules (cannabinoids and terpenes), which helps to strengthen and modulate the properties of said compounds.
In this case, it’s only logical that we would also add different cannabis terpene profiles; not only do they provide flavor to the distillates, they also increase the effects produced by CBD and other cannabinoids.
Plus, terpenes also have beneficial properties on their own, and we’ve chosen the terpene profiles that make for a relaxing, calming effect to make the perfect match with CBD’s anxiolytic effect.
If you’d like to learn more about this, you can check out our other posts where we go into more detail about terpene benefits, such as Limonene, Linalool, Myrcene etc. Terpenes have relaxing and calming effects, among others.
What do Cali Terpenes’ CBD cartridges NOT contain?
Following our principal of not creating products that we wouldn’t consume ourselves, we designed our Cali Terpenes CBD cartridges to have the maximum purity and efficiency, which is why these distillates do NOT contain:
- PG (propylene glycol)
- VG (vegetable glycerin)
- MCT Oil
- Nicotine
- Vitamin E
- Any kind of diluent
Our concentrates do NO contain THC over the legal limit of 0.3%, a cannabinoid that causes the “stoned” effect that’s associated with cannabis. That’s why Cali Terpenes’ CBD cartridges don’t cause any sort of psychoactive effect.
What Effects do Cali Terpenes Cartridges Produce?
CBD’s properties as an anxiolytic and for relaxing the mind are well-known. However, as with any other compound, dose is always an important factor. We’ve created CBD cartridges to offer consumers a faster, efficient way to access cannabidiol’s effects.
Our CBD distillates can help to achieve a more immediate effect during moments of intense stress, as well as calming the nervous system and reducing tension. It’s also a powerful tool for muscle recovery after intense training sessions.
This format allows consumers to obtain immediate benefits of cannabidiol at any time and place, as it can be used with a simple, small vape, and can be kept easily in any pocket or bag. CBD cartridges are incredibly easy to use, and thanks to their concentrated format, their effect is instantaneous and highly efficient.
What’s the Difference Between Vaping e-Liquids and CBD Distillate Cartridges?
The main differences between our CBD e-liquids and CBD cartridges is the concentration of this cannabinoid (it’s much higher in cartridges) and the absence of solvents (our e-liquids contain propyleneglycol and glycerine, the cartridges don’t). CBD e-liquids are designed for a longer vaping session and can help those looking to quit smoking while also enjoying the calming effects of CBD, terpene profiles and their amazing flavors.
Cali Terpenes’ CBD e-liquids contain less CBD than distillates, so they’re designed for more frequent vaping if needed.
Cali Terpenes CBD cartridges are designed to deliver an instant “shot” when higher doses are needed, achieving a better calming and relaxing effect.
Plus, both e-liquids and CBD cartridges are a healthier way to consume this cannabinoid than smoking, and they have less damaging side effects.
Composition can also vary, as e-liquids contain PG and VG, whereas CBD cartridges, as they’re designed to offer CBD in a vapable and concentrated format, only contain CBD distillate and terpenes.
Why Add Cannabis Terpene Profiles to CBD Concentrates?
Cannabis terpene profiles provide delicious flavors and aromas to cannabis plants which have enamored many consumers over the years. That’s why we wanted our concentrates to share the same exquisite qualities.
Plus, cannabis terpene profiles provide many different properties on their own, creating synergy alongside cannabinoids, which makes for a more effective experience.
We’ve chosen some of the most acclaimed, delicious strains from our catalogue to add to our CBD cartridge vaping experience:
- Amnesia: The aroma and flavor of this legendary strain combines intense citric, lime and lemon tones with an earthy, sweet and incensed aftertaste. Amnesia’s terpene profile contains a considerable amount of terpinolene, a terpene known for it’s ability to improve the mood and its anxiolytic properties. Plus, this strain’s terpene profile also contains caryophyllene, ocimene, myrcene, pinene, limonene, carene, linalool.
- Blackberry Kush: the aroma and flavoe of this strain is known for being quite intense, an aroma similar to Afghan hash with sweet, earthy hints and touches of fruit and berries. The terpene found the most in this strain is caryophyllene, known for its anxiolytic properties that can help reduce stress levels. Other terpenes found in Blackberry Kush’s aromatic profiles are: Myrcene, Limonene, Pinene, Linalool, Menthol, Nerolidol and Cineol.
- Gelato: the flavor produced by this famous west coast strain is sweet, with kush-like earthy and citric hints, with creamy, vanilla and diesel undertones. This strain is known for having large amounts of both limonene and caryophyllene, two terpenes with relaxing properties that, when combined with cannabinoids such as CBD, can contribute to reducing nerves and stress in day to day lives. Other main terpenes found in Gelato include: linalool pinene, myrcene, ocimene, terpinolene and pinene.
- Gorilla Glue: the flavor and aroma of this Californian beast are without a doubt, intense. It has an earthy aroma, with pungent tones similar to pine and sweet resin. This strain contains unusually high amounts of caryophyllene, which is accompanied by: myrcene, limonene, linalool, pinene and terpinolene.
- Holy Grail Kush: The flavor produces by this strain is intense and characteristically “kush”, a combination of earthy, herbal, sweet and piney tones. The terpene that can be found in the largest concentration in this strain is also caryophyllene, although more than Gorilla Glue, which is why it’s a much more balanced strain as it also contains considerable amounts of: limonene, linalool, menthol, myrcene and pinene.
As you can see, it was a logical step to add terpene profiles to our CBD concentrates in order to achieve a more relaxing effect and, of course, a premium flavor and aroma. A tool that can easily be used to show exactly how powerful nature can be.
Now that you know what they’re for, and how to use our CBD concentrate cartridges, you have more info on how non-psychoactive compounds found in cannabis can also benefit you in your day to day life. Are you ready for a healthier lifestyle?
