What composition do e-liquids have?
In general, the base of e-liquids is mainly composed of Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin.
Aromas are usually added to this base, which can be chemical or botanical (in the case of the Cali Terpenes, botanical aromas).
You can also add other elements like CBD or nicotine.
It’s important to pay attention to the composition of the e-liquid that you are going to choose, which does not contain toxic or illegal elements or substances. That is why we always recommend acquiring branded e-liquids in the legal market.
What composition do Cali Terpenes e-liquids have?
Cali Terpenes e-liquids are composed only of Propylene Glycol, vegetable glycerin and terpenes (botanical aromas). Also available with CBD.
Our e-liquids have the lowest concentration of Vegetable Glycerin on the market, that’s one of the reasons to be the healthiest eliquids.

What is healthier? Smoke or vape?
Vaporizing eliquids is according to many studies and clinical trials from around the world around 95% healthier than smoking.
So yes, vaping is healthier than smoking.

What vaporizer to use for e-liquids?
For tasty and as healthy vaping as possible (thanks to an optimal vaporization temperature), we recommend using vaporizers with resistances between 1 and 2 ohm (0.5 if it were ceramic) and powers of maximum 30W.
The vaporizer for e-liquids with the highest resistance and durability that we offer is the Eleaf x Just Fog kit.
In addition, we offer other very versatile and comfortable vaporizers such as the Iore Lite.
What is the correct temperature to vaporize e-liquid?
The healthiest and most effective e-liquid vaporization temperature is around 200ºC.
If you increase the temperature for example to 250 degrees, any eliquid can start generating toxic by-products.
On the other hand, too high a vaporization temperature will only generate more steam, but the taste will worsen.
What is the best resistance to vape e-liquids?
Resistances above 1 ohm (such as Just Fog Q16 or Smok Novo atomizers) obviously take longer to heat up than resistors of eg 0.1 ohm
Avoiding the quick overheating of the resistance, the vaporization temperature stays much better and a tastier and healthier vaping is achieved.
It’s also true that some ceramic resistances for e-liquid, usually offer better flavor than conventional resistances, even if you choose one of less resistance, so with this resistances you could work from 0.5 ohm with the same benefits.
We advise that you shouldn’t vaporize with atomizers less than 1 ohm, as the flavor will worsen, despite removing more steam. The temperature will no longer be optimal and the formulation of the eliquids may destabilize and generate toxic by-products.
That is why Cali Terpenes does NOT recommend Sub-Hom vaping (except in the indicated cases)
What does it mean to vaporize Sub-Hom?
Sub-ohm vaping means using very low resistances, below 1 ohm, usually with especially low resistances like 0.1 ohm.
This type of vaporization has the sole purpose of generating more steam.
We know that it can be very good on social networks, but we do not recommend it, since the vaporization temperature is not adequate and can cause health problems.

Are e-liquids toxic?
E-liquids, if are professionally formulated, are non-toxic. It is true that they are not 100% harmless, but they are at least 95% healthier than smoking.
It’s also true that there are eliquids and vaporizers with cannabis products on the market (both legal and illegal) that contain toxic or illegal products, that is why we recommend established brands and buy in the legal market to avoid problems.

Are e-liquids used to quit smoking cigarettes?
Vaping e-liquids can be an alternative to quit smoking. As we have previously commented, it is also healthier than smoking (as long as they are properly made products from the legal market).
Cali Terpenes believes that it is better to choose nicotine-free e-liquids, since it is a highly toxic substance that your body does not need. In addition, a few days after vaping (especially with CBD e-liquids), there is no longer a physical addiction to this substance.
What is the difference between e-liquids with terpenes and e-liquids with CBD?
Our eliquids with terpenes contain:
- Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin in 90/10 ratio
- Terpenes from Cali Terpenes of botanical origin
CBD e-liquids, in addition to the above elements, contain GMP grade CBD(Cannabidiol) with a purity of 99.8% (without THC content).
In the first version we offer the possibility of enjoying the characteristic flavor of the most famous cannabis varieties, thus avoiding the risks derived from combustion.
With the CBD version you can also enjoy the benefits of CBD in conjunction with each terpene profile (cannabis aromas).
Can I make my own e-liquid, like CBD e-liquid or terpenes e-liquid?
At Cali Terpenes we not only offer our line of ready-to-use e-liquids, we also offer you all the necessary elements to create your own cannabis flavored e-liquid with or without CBD.

Can I add cannabinoids to e-liquids?
Yes, you can add cannabinoids to e-liquids.
To do this, you can starting with an e-liquid already prepared (starting for example with our eliquid with terpenes) or create your own e-liquid “from scratch”, using propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, terpenes and cannabinoids, which you can get for example in a cannabis concentrate like “rosin“.
The option that we recommend the most (especially for a homogeneous result or if you are going to use a large amount of cannabinoids) is to create your own e-liquid, since you have the option of adding each of the elements in your favorite proportion.
In addition, with this method you can use a magnetic stirrer, which allows the mixture to be much more homogeneous, faster and without effort.

Can I add THC to e-liquids?
Yes, as we explain in the previous question “can I add cannabinoids to e-liquids”, you can add THC to e-liquids.
Can I add CBD to e-liquids?
Yes, as we explained two questions before, you can add CBD to e-liquids.
Our CBD e-liquids already contain Cannabidiol, but if you need to add a higher concentration of CBD you can do it.
Can I dilute an extraction as “rosin” with the e-liquid?
Yes, you can add rosin to e-liquids in order to have an e-liquid with THC (as we explained previously).
You can also add little by little eliquid with terpenes to the rosin until you achieve the texture you want to make cartridges for “vape pen”.
Are e-liquids safe?
E-liquids are around 95% healthier than smoking, but like anything, should be consumed in moderation.
Would you not eat 3kg of macaroni in one day or drink 10 liters of water? Well, you do not have to vape 50ml of e-liquid in one day 🙂 Vape responsibly.
On the other hand, Cali Terpenes e-liquids have an high-quality formulation (with a low glycerin content for an healthiest vaping) and all raw materials comes from Europe to ensure a superior quality.
Don’t buy e-liquids in the illegal market, as they can be made with toxic elements.
There recent alarm, caused precisely by purchases on illegal market of “vape pens” with THC with some toxic elements present in them (specifically Vitamin E acetate) that caused problems for some of those who consumed them.
The brands in the legal market are subject to enough controls and regulations, and you can get them in most stores, grow shops and on the net.
Can e-liquids cause health problems?
As we explained in the previous question, e-liquids that are formulated with toxic elements, in most cases are illegal products. Those can cause health problems.
For this reason we recommend that always choose safe and certified products, such as Cali Terpenes e-liquids.
Are e-liquids flammable?
No, Cali Terpenes e-liquids are NOT flammable.
Do Cali Terpenes e-liquids contain Vitamine E?
Absolutely NO, Cali Terpenes e-liquids do not contain Vitamin E.
Do Cali Terpenes e-liquids contain MTC oil?
No, Cali Terpenes e-liquids only contain Propylene Glycol, Glycerin and our cannabis terpenes profiles (cannabis aromas) from botanical origins.
Do Cali Terpenes e-liquids contain diacetyl?
No, no toxic element has a place in the formulation of our e-liquids.
Do Cali Terpenes e-liquids contain THC?
No, Cali Terpenes e-liquids do not contain THC.
Can I test positive for a drug control with CBD e-liquids?
No, not with Cali Terpenes CBD e-liquids, because there isn’t thc inside.
There are brands that use broad spectrum CBD in some cases with a little THC presence, but the CBD used in the formulation of our e-liquids is 99.8% pure and there is no THC presence, so there is no way to test positive at a drogotest with our e-liquids.
Do Cali Terpenes e-liquids contain Nicotine?
No, Cali Terpenes e-liquids do not contain Nicotine.
You can add nicotine to your e-liquid if you wish, since if you remove the dropper cap from the e-liquid you can add whatever you want.
On the other hand, Cali Terpenes does NOT recommend the use of nicotine because it is highly toxic and addictive.
What is the origin of the aroma provided to Cali Terpenes e-liquids?
The aromas provided in the Cali Terpenes eliquids are our terpene profiles (cannabis aromas) for use in vaporization.
Our botanical aromas are made from terpenes of natural origin from all kinds of plants, flowers and fruits.
The Cali Terpenes flavorings do not contain additives or diluents and come from crops without GMOs (No gmo).
What is vegetable glycerin?
Vegetable glycerin is also known by the name of glycerol. It is extracted from some vegetable oils, such as coconut or palm oil. It is a colorless, odorless, sweet-tasting liquid and is soluble in both water and alcohol.
In the world of vaping, it has the function of providing thickness to the liquid (so that it does not sublime in vaporizers) and that it also creates more vapor when consumed.
What is Propylene Glycol?
Propylene glycol is a colorless, tasteless and odorless organic compound. It’s obtained by hydrating propylene oxide.

Can I add more terpenes to Cali Terpenes e-liquids?
Yes, you can add more terpenes to our e-liquids, although you should bear in mind that they contain around 2 and 2.5% of terpenes depending on the variety.

Are e-liquids with terpenes psychoactive?
No, e-liquids with terpenes are not psychoactive, you will never “get high”.
By the way, if you are under the influence of THC, our e-liquids with terpenes, because its formulation with terpenes, can modulate, enhance or lengthen the effect of the THC that you have at that moment.
Are CBD e-liquids psychoactive?
No, CBD e-liquids, are not psychoactive, they do not “get high”.
In addition to not containing THC, CBD is one of the non-psychoactive components of cannabis, which has many health benefits, but has no psychoactive effect.
Are the aromas from Cali Terpenes e-liquids organic?
Yes, the aromas of our e-liquids come from plants, they are not created from synthetic terpenes.

What are the varieties of Cali Terpenes e-liquids that are most similar to cannabis?
All! Although you must take into account several things:
1- The aroma provided is exactly that of each cannabis variety, but there are obvious differences between smoking and vaping eliquids: vaping e-liquids there is no combustion (which alters the taste), our vaping liquids do not contain vegetable matter (instead it is liquid and formed by PG and GV) and there is an absence of some cannabinoids (THC, CBG, ..) in addition to other lipids present in cannabis.
2- Vaping e-liquids with terpenes is more similar to vaporizing marijuana than smoking marijuana, the combustion influences and muddies the original flavor. If you have steamed or grown you will perfectly recognize each of the flavors, if not, it may cost you a little more.
2- If you are used to smoking, for example Amnesia, we would recommend starting with the eliquid with Amnesia terpenes (or Amnesia CBD) so that you can appreciate the faithful flavor provided in the formulation.
We have ever come across users who do not recognize any variety such as Gelato or Girl Scout Cookies in e-liquid or terpenes, but it is also true that these users acknowledged not having previously tried these strains on flowers, and don’t having grown them.

Surely you have heard about the current alarmism about the use of vaporizers in the media.
News of US hospitalized vapers flew around the world without first investigating the cause. Once investigated, it was found that all the hospitalized had consumed THC vaporizers from the illegal market.
The final conclusion of the health authorities determined that the substance that caused respiratory problems was Vitamin E acetate.
Why did those “vape pens” contain vitamin E?
Distillate cartridges (or live resin or other cannabis concentrates) do NOT need Vitamin E. Vitamin E is used to mimic the texture of THC or CBD distillate, but starting with lower quality extractions.
Distillates, to be consumed in vape pens, only need terpenes to add flavor and to modulate the effect of cannabinoids according to the terpenes used.
On the other hand, properly made e-liquids are at least 95% healthier than tobacco, which is why some tobacco companies have also pushed to eliminate them, since they cannot dominate an existing market and with so many already established companies .

I have seen that you have two types of e-liquids with CBD, with 30mg and 100mg, which one to choose?
The concentration and amount of CBD required for each person is very relative.
If you have never tried CBD, you can start with 30mg and choose one of 100mg of the same variety so you can see the difference between them.

What is CBD?
CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of the main cannabinoids (chemical compounds) that are naturally present in Cannabis (or hemp).
It is obtained from the flowers of the plant and only some strains of Cannabis are rich in CBD, since until now most of them were high in THC, the psychoactive and best known cannabis cannabinoid.

Do e-liquids work with CBD?
Vaping is one of the easiest, fastest, and most effective ways to consume CBD.
Bioavailability is higher and the effect more immediate (compared to oral or topical use).
Furthermore, it’s healthier than smoking CBD.
Do CBD e-liquids taste like cannabis?
In general, CBD e-liquids can have a neutral flavor (due to the absence of added aromas), flavor to different cannabis varieties (due to the presence of terpene profiles), or a donut or similar flavor (from synthetic flavorings).
For this reason, in the Cali Terpenes CBD e-liquids we use cannabis aromas of botanical origin.
Furthermore, the “entourage effect” is much higher using our terpenes (aromas) in e-liquids than using other types of flavorings, since they allow greater absorption of cannabinoids.
Can e-liquids with CBD make you “high”?
No, CBD e-liquids cannot “make you high”, but you may feel relaxed with those with a more relaxing terpene profile (for example with Holy Grail Kush or Blackberry Kush) and somewhat more creative with varieties like Super Lemon Haze or Jamaican Dream, for the presence of terpenes and CBD.
How much e-liquid with CBD can you consume?
Although e-liquids are safer than smoking, we recommend vaping responsibly.
For example, drinking water is healthy, but drinking more water than you can can cause problems. The same with e-liquids.
How are CBD e-liquids used?
